The Center in Hollywood is nonprofit working towards ending isolation and breaking the cycle of homelessness through radical hospitality in Hollywood and throughout LA County. They have partnered with Guidance Teletherapy in order to provide supportive clinical services to their employees and team members. Below are the clinicians ready to give individual counseling.

Are you a staff member of The Center In Hollywood wanting to access services with one of the clinicians listed below?

Simply send them an email to the clinician you’re interested in seeking services from, identifying yourself as a staff member currently seeking individual therapy. The sessions are confidential and are not reported back to your employer with any identifying information.

The three sessions are free of charge and covered by The Center in Hollywood. They are offered from October 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. They are offered to active staff members of the organization.

Irene Silva, ACSW
Intern (she/her)

Irene is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Art in Art Therapy at Cedar Crest College. Her approach to art therapy comes from a humanistic lens. She believes in the healing power of art and the creative process.

Her experience includes assisting members of the blind community using sculpture techniques that supported clients’ resilience, autonomy, and feeling of connection to others. Her work in social services gave her insights into family dynamics. In addition to assisting families in accessing community resources, Irene also assisted youth in developing a sense of safety, trust, and better problem-solving skills by facilitating peer group sessions. Irene’s first year internship involved collaborating with art, movement, and drama therapists to support individuals struggling with eating disorders.

Her goal is to meet her clients where they are and to support them in their healing journey through art and talk therapy. She believes the client is the expert in their experiences and it would be her great honor to work alongside them.
